FIFA WORLD CUP QATAR 2022

                                                        FIFA WORLD CUP  QATAR 2022 

I bet most of us have been waiting so excited for the World Cup 2022! And finally, it has started! We are watching the best performances of each country on the Qatar soccer field. As a soccer person, I'm enjoying every soccer match. And I'm glad to let you know that my country was part of the FIFA WORLD CUP 2022. ¡Yes, I’m talking about Ecuador! 

I want to talk about my country because I am so proud of their performance as a team. I have been watching the WORLD CUP 2022 since its opening. I was so happy because my country was the winner of the match! Ecuador scored 2-0 against Qatar and let me tell you that we would have scored more goals if the referee had not disallowed 1 goal to Ecuador.

My country was known around the world because of its amazing performance. However, on November 22nd, my country was left out of the World Cup. For me, it was an injustice because Ecuador was playing so well, and the referee was just giving more chance to the Qatari soccer players despite all the faults they were committing on the Ecuadorian soccer players.  Could you imagine that the referee gave a penalty to the Qatari player for no reason? Thanks to that penalty, Senegal scored 1 goal. To make matters worse, the referee had disallowed 1 goal by Ecuador as he did the first time. And we lost the soccer match; my country was eliminated from the World Cup.

 

After Senegal's victory, Ecuador's team as well as Ecuadorians fans started crying (including me lol). It was a sad moment because I think that the Ecuadorian players felt disappointed of themselves and, in the same way, they believed that the Ecuadorians were disappointed of them as well. It broke my heart to see them crying because, for me, they have given the best of them on the soccer field. 

 

I am very proud of my national team because despite everything, Ecuador has succeeded in this FIFA WORLD CUP! And now, they are known worldwide. 

My national team has shown the world how wonderful they are <3 that's why I love my national team. 

By the way, I'm so happy because South Korea qualified for the knockout stage of Qatar 2022! I also love this team :) because it's a good team. South Korea's soccer players have shown a great performance on the soccer field as well as Japan! Cheers for them!
