Why...?

 

I bet at some point in your life you have asked to yourself "Why am I ... doing this?" Haven't you? Because I have asked to myself why am I studying to be an English teacher? Why am I studying English? Why am I studying at UNAE university? When I was at elementary school I was wondering during my lesson: how does my teacher know a lot? Since that time, I started to be interested in education. In that moment, I wanted to be a teacher for elementary school. Then, time passed, and I was in high school.  So, I met my English teachers. Thanks to them, I started loving English. 

I will not lie to you, I used to hate English because of a bad English teacher I used to have. Well, the point is that since I was a little girl, I started thinking about my future. I also remember that when I was at high school, I was wondering about where I would go to study. As we all know, our future is unpredictable, so I was, I am, and I will be worried about it. Now, I am studying to be an English teacher because I like teaching.

I think teaching is a constantly learning because every day is a new challenge for teachers. They do not know what is going to happen during their classes, that is why they are prepared for anything that could happen inside the classroom. That is the greatest thing of teaching. You have to be prepared for everything that could happen. So, why am I here? Easy, I am here because I love the language and I love teaching. I love helping people on what I can. And, doing what I like doing is one of the ways to be happy. If I study what I love, I will be inspired and motivated to continue studying.  To be honest, sometimes it is really hard, but I am giving the best of me in order to be a good Teacher.
